Cory Martin is the Vice President and Senior Scientist of Resource Management at Environmental 360 with a background in forest management services. Specializing in fiber procurement, reforestation, and forest sustainability, Mr. Martin has over 13 years of experience in the forest products industry. He is a registered forester in multiple states in the southeast and is a licensed chemical applicator. While in Forestry School at Auburn University, he interned with Resource Management Services where he assisted in the management of several large landholdings with a focus on maximizing investor returns.
After graduating from Forestry School in 1998 with a BS in Forest Operations and a Minor in Business, Mr. Martin began working as a forester for an Alabama-based forest procurement and management company. He serves clients by delivering raw materials to the forest products market and providing forest management services to landowners. The forest management services include forest investment enhancement, forest sustainability plans, timber appraisals, timber market feasibility studies, prescribed burns, and aerial chemical applications. In addition, Mr. Martin is a forester for a large reforestation company which plants approximately 40 million trees per year. The company performs chemical spraying, site prep work, and best management practices preparation work. Mr. Martin is responsible for securing contracts with landholding companies and managing reforestation projects.
Mr. Martin serves Environmental 360 clients by providing comprehensive land management programs focusing on maximizing timber, wildlife, and environmental development assets. He also leads a group of environmental scientists, foresters, and biologists that provide sustainable forestry, best management practices, and forest management programs to land managers.
