CEMS/COMS TECHNICIAN

Environmental 360 is seeking a full-time CEMS/COMS Technician to be based in the southeastern area to service clients primarily in the Southeast and Pacific Northwest.

The primary role of the CEMS/COMS Technician is to perform monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance and compliance certifications in large industrial and manufacturing facilities and to complete necessary reporting for that maintenance. This position is also expected to lead and assist on CEMS/COMS Integration projects for our clients as well as occasional emergency service work. The CEMS/COMS Technician will also be the primary communicator with the client in those facilities; therefore, he or she must possess professional communication skills and customer service. This position is also expected to assist with business development and marketing of all Environmental 360 services. Overnight and day travel is required depending on clients’ schedules. In addition to the field work, there will also be administrative duties required with project field notes, monthly/quarterly/annual reports, compliance plans, expense reports, and time sheets.

Persons interested in this position must possess or be able to perform the following:

  • Post-secondary education in electrical engineering technician, electronics technician, electrical
    technician, HVAC technician, or related degree or experience
  • Electrical experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to adhere to the admission requirements of specific client sites
  • Effectively follow safety procedures of Environmental 360 and specific client sites
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme climates and potentially hazardous environments
  • Drive to and from industrial sites throughout the Southeast
  • Climb ladder or steps, on occasion, up to 200 feet
  • Walk long distances to complete inspections

Staff Scientist

Environmental 360 is currently seeking two full-time staff scientists. One to be based in Louisiana and one in Oregon; however, since Environmental 360 provides an array of environmental consulting services to clients all across the United States, this position could also be involved in projects in other geographical areas.

Environmental Technical Report Writer

Environmental Technical Report Writer Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review environmental compliance reports/plans for technical and clerical accuracy
  • Read, comprehend, and implement applicable environmental regulations into compliance reports/plans
  • Perform site visits to facilities for field verification of reports/plans
  • Develop environmental compliance reports/plans for new clients
  • Perform data entry for environmental field work
  • Complete quality checks on environmental reports, diagrams/drawings, maps, inventory lists, and inspection forms
  • Communicate with and provide technical/administrative support to all team members
  • Manage projects
  • Email and ship reports/plans to clients in a timely manner to meet deadlines
  • Complete weekly expense reports and timesheets
  • Work collectively with office team on any additional tasks that arise

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work from a computer
  • Ability to adhere to the admission requirements and safety procedures of large industrial and manufacturing client sites and Environmental 360 company policies
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme climates and potentially hazardous environments
  • Drive to and from industrial and manufacturing sites throughout the Southeast, potentially across the nation, and also around Murfreesboro for various tasks
  • Walk long distances to complete inspections
  • Organized and very detail-oriented
  • AutoCAD and Visio experience is a plus
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as the needs of the company change
  • Positive attitude and willing to have roles evolve as company evolves

Certifications, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, English, or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Previous writing experience and being organized and detail-orientated is required.
  • Environmental regulatory experience preferred but not required.
