Jason Atkins is a Project Scientist with Environmental 360. Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon focusing on Economics as well as Geology. Growing up in a small forest coastal town in Oregon, he has always had a passion for the forests and natural resource conservation.
Jason worked as a wildland firefighter throughout his undergraduate degree. He got to travel all over the Pacific Northwest as well as Alaska while working to protect the forests and property from wildfires. After college, Jason worked for Roseburg Forest Products, a plywood manufacturing company, where he started as a Quality Assurance Technician before being promoted to Supervisor where he managed over 30 people for 2 years.
At Environmental 360, Jason completes project work for the clients primarily in the Pacific Northwest in areas pertaining to SPCC, CEMS/COMS, and LDAR. He is also Method 9 certified for visible emissions and opacity.
Jason lives in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, sports, and his Oregon Duck’s football team.
