Eric Hunter is a Project Scientist I with Environmental 360 where he assists clients with a variety of compliance and permitting needs. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Indiana University in 2008, Eric was quickly promoted from field scientist to staff account manager with an Indianapolis based environmental consulting firm and was responsible for environmental compliance permitting, inspections, reports, and training for various industrial, petrochemical, transportation, and manufacturing facilities across the country. Eric developed and managed various environmental compliance programs including SPCC/FRP, SWPPP, LDAR, RCRA, RMP, etc.
Eric then accepted an EH&S Manager position at a bulk petroleum manufacturing facility with three (3) locations located in Oklahoma and Texas. Eric managed environmental programs to maintain compliance with SPCC, SWPPP, FRP, TRI Reporting, and Tier II Reporting for all locations. Eric also lead a team to complete facility-wide Global Harmonization System (GHS) audits and correct any deficiencies with tank labeling and SDSs.
Prior to joining Environmental 360, Eric was promoted from project manager to general manager for an Industrial Services/Emergency Response contractor in the Midwest and oversaw all waste disposal and industrial cleaning/spill response projects at petrochemical and industrial facilities. Eric was responsible for estimating, project management, and safety for high hazard confined space entry tank cleaning projects. Eric lead the Emergency Response division during numerous marine, roadside and industrial spill cleanup projects. He has over 12 years of experience as an environmental professional and is certified through the American Petroleum Institute (API) as a Tank Entry Supervisor (TES).
Eric works with Environmental 360 clients in the Kentucky region in all service areas.
Eric enjoys bass fishing and lives in Cadiz, Kentucky.
