Anna graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2019 with a degree in Environmental Science focused on Natural Resources and Conservation. While in her final semester of school, she worked for the City of Chattanooga as an intern with the Stormwater Engineering Department. Through this internship she gained knowledge of stormwater BMPs, interpreted civil engineering drawings of stormwater conveyances, and added data to a GIS database of the city’s stormwater system.
In May of 2020, Anna began working as a consulting utility forester for a rural electric co-op in north Georgia. In this position, she quickly became knowledgeable of distribution power structures and safety standards and gained expertise in the identification and care of trees in the southeastern United States. While working as a forester by day, she studied nightly for several months and became a certified Master Herpetologist.
Since August 2021, Anna has been with Environmental 360, Inc. as an Environmental Scientist. At Environmental 360, Anna is a vital part of the compliance plan team and assists with special projects. She helps develop and review various environmental compliance plans, including SWPPPs and SPCC Plans. Anna is a Fundamentals of Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Level 1 Certified personnel in the state of Tennessee. She looks forward to significantly widening her knowledge and passion within the industry and being a member of the Environmental 360 team for many years ahead.
Anna and her husband currently reside in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they enjoy camping, playing board games, and visiting locally owned restaurants and breweries.
